This programme looks at the events  taking place during the festival with a special Interview with Chairperson of the  Cruinniú na mBád Michael Brogan.  there will aslo be  a chat with those from the community hosting all the visitors and finishing with Kinvara secret! a Tropical Garden…



12pm               Come West Along With Rose’  – Rose O’ Connor

The theme of the show is ‘whatever floats your boat” A lively mix of interviews, music, song and chat with local talent and personalities.


1pm               “Community Focus” – Eimear O’Donnell

A mix of music and chat, this program that focuses on the historical gems and specialist local information that makes Kinvara and its surroundings such a special place.

2pm              “Sea Pictures” – Phil Gaston

A special sea themed music program for the Cruinniú

3pm              “Kinvara People” – Mary Meijer

Interviews with some of the interesting people who have come to live in Kinvara and their stories of how they found their way here.

4pm              “The Ari Fine Show” – Ari Fine

Classic rock and metal band of the 20th century in conversation with local youth. This is the place for alternative music in Kinvara.

5pm              “Keep on the Sunny Side” – Gerry Byrne

Great recordings of music and song by artists connected to the South Galway, North Clare area.

1pm               ‘The John Conneely show’ – John Conneely

A special focus Tony Moylan’s contribution to traditional Irish crafts, music and the Irish language in Kinvara. He was inspired by the craft of boat building to create a festival “Cruinniú na mBád which is famous all over the world.


2pm              “The Gerry Wallace Hour” – Gerry Wallace

A mixture of local music and a few live musicians with an ear to the ground on all the festival activities.

3pm              “The Cathy Dunne Show” – Cathy Dunne

Irish bands and singer songwriters. Interviews and an overview of the Kava art exhibition in the courthouse during the Cruinniú.

4pm              “The Culture Show” – Eilbhe Ní Chonaire and Karen Mc Donnell
